The United Association of Plumbers, Pipefitters and Sprinkler Fitters prides itself on its' training programs. Pipefitters Local 274 is no different. We are one of four United Association Welder Certification facilities for the state of New Jersey. Our welder certification program is recognized by not only the Mechanical Contractors Association but by leaders of the industry. By providing welders pre-certified, we help to keep a project on time and within the budget. The training facility at Local 274 is capable of adapting to any type of changing technology, whether medical gas certification, plastic fusion for gas distribution or heating and cooling application. We are prepared to meet any such challenge. Our full-time instructors are constantly upgrading their skills in order to teach our apprentices and journeymen what is needed to keep our membership ahead of the competition.
