We have represented owners/developers, design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers in federal and state litigation, venued both nationally and within our region. The Construction Litigation Group is also experienced in parallel areas of construction law, including contract negotiation, contract formation, and the adaptation of standard contract forms (American Institute of Architects, Associated General Contractors, Engineers Joint Contracts and Federal Construction Contracts) to specific client requirements. We have drafted many custom contracts for projects with particular needs. The Construction Litigation Group routinely advises on insurance and surety issues such as insuring the Construction Project, obtaining and enforcing performance bonds and payment bonds and other related surety issues. We have litigated numerous insurance and surety bond cases on behalf of owners/developers, as well as contractors.
