The original Sunglo® heater was designed in 1961 by Edwin J. Cowan, a leading U.S. infrared heating appliance engineer. A unique demand existed in California for decorative, yet practical, gas fired heaters. Mr. Cowan pioneered the circular radiant heater concept primarily for use in restaurants, hotels, and country clubs. The Sunglo® heater is now a welcome feature at popular resorts and hotels, fine restaurants and cafes, swimming pool and spa areas, ski lodges and greenhouses as well as fine home patios.
