We offer open-shop/non-union contractors the opportunity to comply with New York, New Jersey and Connecticut apprenticeship requirements.
- Established in 2007, the Alliance is multi-employer, New York, New Jersey & Connecticut Department of Labor approved Carpentry, Operating Engineer (heavy equipment) Skilled Craft Laborer, Ironworker and Cement Finisher/Cement Mason apprenticeship program.
- Once approved by our Board, Alliance contractors become “signatory” to all five apprenticeship programs; employ qualified Alliance apprentices and meet bidding requirements found across New York, as well as required for registration of public works contractors in New Jersey.
