Today, the Gridless is the only battery of its kind trusted to provide critical power in extreme conditions. But when Jason Halpern and Patrick Murphy started Gridless back in 2010, they had something different in mind: Farming. Jason and Pat wanted to simplify the logistics involved in getting power out into the fields of Jason’s family farm. From there, the focus shifted from the fields of southern New Jersey to the battlefield when Gridless began developing solar storage systems for the US Military.

Gridless started as two guys in a garage on a farm and has grown into a nation-wide team of entrepreneurs, engineers, designers, and business people.
