Parsons+Fernandez-Casteleiro Architects is an architectural firm made up of a diverse group of professionals experienced in all facets of architectural design including interiors, landscape, urban design and master planning. This broad training in design provides us with a foundation for the rigorous and disciplined approach we apply to each and every project. Despite having accumulated a seventeen year roster of recognizable clients, Jeff Parsons and Manuel Fernandez remain focused on cultivating content, quality and integrity of thought, properties essential to good design. We are and always have been organized around a studio concept, where each project is subjected to open critiques and innovation is nurtured through the constant communication and exchange of ideas. We believe authentic design should not consist of another idea resurrected from the past. Our designs are not loud or obvious, they are derived from solving clients’ specific problems and coming up with unique solutions. We are obsessed with making designs that work down to their individual pieces of hardware yet, as we continue to demonstrate with our many design awards and both national and international publications, such pragmatism does not have to come at the expense of poetry.
