Scape Landscape Architecture, PLLC is a design-driven landscape architecture and urban design studio. We specialize in landscape architecture and urban design. We explore the cultural and physical complexity of urban landscapes and their unique textures, ecologies, programs and publics. Our projects range from a 1000 square foot pocket park, to a 100 acre environmental center, to a 1000 acre landfill regeneration project. We have exhibited work in the Museum of Modern Art, and the Seoul, Lisbon, and Hong Kong/Shenzhen Biennials. Our goal is to create and organize dialogue about the built environment, to refine the definition of the public sector to include natural processes and wildlife habitat, and to cultivate an ethos of civic participation. Within this expanded mandate, our ‘design output’ takes many forms research, teaching, writing, built landscapes, websites, maps, documentations, and temporary installations. We share a commitment to innovative design and construction of the urban landscape.
