Since 1986, Techna-Pro Electric has helped New Jersey communities keep traffic moving safely. We're a full-service electrical contractor specializing in traffic signal installation and maintenance for municipalities, counties and public agencies. We serve 10 counties across central and southern New Jersey: Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Atlantic, Salem, Cumberland and Cape May.

Traffic signal construction, modernization and maintenance are the core of our work. We also handle the electrical projects that go along with it:

• School zone and pedestrian signage and traffic controls
• Electric vehicle charging stations
• Solar installations
• Electrical services for municipal buildings

Techna-Pro is NJDOT-prequalified and a certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE). Our field crews include IMSA-certified technicians with decades of experience. We perform required inspections and maintenance under standing contracts with Burlington, Gloucester, Monmouth and Camden Counties and Cherry Hill and Gloucester Townships. We also provide on-call service to municipalities throughout our 10-county service area. When a signal is knocked down or goes dark, our 24/7 emergency response gets intersections working again quickly.

We also hold county-approved cooperative purchasing contracts. Participating municipalities can use them to hire us without running a separate public bid, so work can start in days instead of months.
